Alex Cali

Alex Cali has been dancing since 1995. She has been studying traditional dance forms such as Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Tap and Ballet, as well as the urban styles of Break Dancing, Popping, Locking, and Hip Hop. She has also studied West African dance and improvisational dance. She has done summer intensives at the University of Maryland, Goucher College, and University of the Arts. She participated in the The New York Dance Alliance and Monsters of Hip Hop conventions. Monsters gave her the opportunity to work with some of the most recognized and successful choreographers in the Hip Hop and Music Video scene, such as Rhapsody, Geo Hubela, Brian Green, Tabitha D'umo. She has also studied Jazz and Modern under the tutelage of Debra Floyd, Idenna Russell, and Anika Penn, and is currently training with Tracey Lesetar and Melissa St. Amour.
