Artis Mooney
Rhythm Tap
Artis Mooney, native to Washington, DC, has extensive and various experiences with tap. While living in New York City, Artis performed and choreographed with Feraba (African Rhythm Tap) and The Tap Collective (of which she was a founding member), and performed with the American Tap Dance Orchestra and Manhattan Tap. In addition, Artis has taught and choreographed in DC, Virginia, Maryland, Kentucky, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Florida. She has worked with all ages and all levels. She is also holds a BFA from the Corcoran College of Art & Design, majoring in fine arts with a concentration in mixed media.
