Jason has worked with several dance companies in different styles and technique around the US. This class is designed for dancers who are looking to challenge their physical abilities, and to strengthen the core muscles and pelvis while gaining flexibility around the hips and utilizing the full potential of the spine. Martha Graham is my inspiration for this class and I also incorporate different kinds of technique like ballet for proper alignment, swinging exercises to warm-up the whole body while releasing muscular tensions, and a combination of Graham, Horton, Asian folk dances and Gymnastics across the floor and center combination at the end of each class.
