Christina Jackson

Christina Jackson is a graduate of the Baltimore School for the Arts where she trained intensely in ballet and modern technique. Christina started dancing at the age of 3 at Dance Dynamics training in ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre, and lyrical. She was apart of the studio's competition and traveld the United States. She later joined the competiton team at Dance Explosion. Christina has won many awards, titles, and scholarships from: New York City Dance Alliance, West Coast Dance Explosion, L.A Dance Force, and many more. She was also the recipient of the NAACP's ACTSO regional Gold Medal Award. At a young age, Christina has graced many stages with her presence at venues such as: The Radio One Music Awards, The Baltimore Symphony Orcheastra's Holiday Spectacular, Expressions 25th Anniversary at the Hippodrome Theatre, THE Capitol Movement Project, Congressional Black Caucus Gala, Alvin Ailey's summer intensive "Summer Sizzler" show, Peabody's Spring Dance Concert, The Myerhoff, Disney World's "Stars of Tommorrow" and many more. She has worked with astounding artists such as; Tony Powell, Joey Dowling, Barry Hughson, Rodger Cunningham, Corneilius Carter, Adrain Bolton, Helanius Wilkins, Tim Roberts, Jenna Hyde, Dan Karaty, and much more. She is currently a full time student at the University of MAryland College Park on full scholarship as a Public Realations and Dance major. Christina has been apart of the Capitol Movement Project since 2006.
