Rupa Puttagunta
Bollywood
Rupa took her first dance lesson when she was five and a half in Hyderabad, India. Since then, she's continued to study and perform Classical Indian Dance, Bhangra, Folk, and Bollywood in Palvoncha (India), Vishakapatnam (India), Detroit, New York, and D.C. She's an avid lover of all things artistic, and is continually looking for new and exciting beats to develop her understanding of dance. As a member of Rhythmaya's dance troupe, she's also looking to fuse Indian dance with other styles. Rupa is excited about teaching at the D.C. Dance Collective and can't wait to share her love of Indian dancing with everyone!
