Honey Bee
Pilates Mat, Zumba
Honey Bee has had a love for dance and the arts for as long as she can remember. She studied under Master Zumba! Trainer Asuka; and under Suzie Celentano, Margaret King, Vicki Norman, and Nekea Brown for her Pilates certification. Honey also studied Ballet and Tap at the Springfield (Oregon) School of Dance; Ballet, Jazz, Flamenco, and Pointe at Escuelas de Baile in San Juan, Puerto Rico; Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Pointe, dance improvisation, Latin dance, social dance, Salsa, Clogging, Irish Step dancing, along with music and theatre (triple major); Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Hip Hop at Metropolitan Fine Arts Center, Alexandria, Virginia. Honey Bee choreographed and performed in "Dance in the Blue Door", several "Open Show Dance" performances, Clogged in the "Starlight Parade" at the Portland (Oregon) Rose Parade; danced Tap, Ballet and Hip Hop in "Tarzan". She also enjoyed voluntarily performing several times for different underprivileged children's groups, and was a member of the Misty Valley Cloggers who performed at elderly care homes and during community parades. During the past two years, she has diligently worked to recover from a spinal injury. Honey has succeeded in regaining the flexibility and strength lost, and has returned full force with increased love and appreciation for dance, the arts, and her students. Now, she teaches all over the Northern Virginia/District of Columbia area and seeks to spread her joy and encouragement to those she encounters while demonstrating that no matter their circumstance they can achieve their dreams too.

Zumba
Join the wave of fun hitting the nation! Zumba! is a combination of dance infused with aerobics. Some types of dances you will have a chance to enjoy are Salsa, Meringue, Cumbia, Belly, Hip Hop and Jazz, along with many more. All levels are welcome to this stress-free zone. Only one rule in class-have fun!
Pilates Mat
The class will focus on core strengthening, flexibility and building long lean muscles. To do this, we will use different Pilates schools' of thought and any modifications needed to provide the student a way to perform no matter what their experience level. Pilates is an all body workout that helps the student increase strength and flexibility in a fun, relaxing, stress-free environment while leaving them feeling invigorated and energized. All levels are welcome.
