The locking class begins with a warm-up consisting of old school party dances. The warm-up is followed by several drills of the arm motions. A quick 5 minute break for water occurs midway through class and is followed by further instruction on different locking movements and mentality. Finally, the class concludes with a cypher (open circle) at which students are welcome to contribute and practice their locking freestyle
