The DC area's newest pre-professional summer intensive is here! Featuring two of the areas most highly sought after master teachers, Candra Preshong and Kellie Payne, also newest members of the DC Dance Collective Staff. The program features Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Lyrical, Stretch Conditioning, Tap, Hip Hop, and Choreography. The classes are designed for the intermediate/advanced dancer and will provide an intense blend of the technical, physical, and stylistic components of dance training.

Auditions will take place at the following times:

April 12th at 11am-1pm
April 19th at 3pm-5pm

at DC Dance Collective.

The classes run Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5pm with the options of as little as one week or five full week enrollment. Please contact fusiondc2006@aol.com or kelliepayne@comcast.net for more info.

Benefit Concert at DC Dance Collective

DC Dance Collective's newest faculty members, Candra Preshong and Kellie Payne, are hosting a benefit concert for their company's premier Washington DC concert, "Identity Crisis". The benefit concert will take place on April 19th, 7:30pm, at DC Dance Collective, and will showcase talented young performers in all styles and techniques of dance. Tickets will be $10 OR we will accept donations. This is going to be a fantastic evening of exquisite talent and ALL the proceeds will go towards fusiondance to help them move closer to their goals, both within the community through outreach and artistically on the stage on May 15th at 7:30pm at the Lang Theater in the Atlas Center.
